Engaging the Next
Generations of Leaders

Are employers ready?

Why

Today, more than ever before, it is vital that organizations represent and engage the younger generations – to better understand their attitudes, aspirations, what drives and motivates them. Future leaders make a real contribution to companies’ effectiveness and ensure that the organisation is prepared for the future. DE&I policies are a fundamental and growing interest. But, how are these policies translated into everyday culture and practice, and are these policies including the voices of young professionals. Without inclusion, engaging everyone’s full potential and giving everyone the power to influence, the crucial connections that attract diverse talent, encourage their participation, foster innovation, and lead to business growth won’t happen.

What

A live event offering a platform in which young talented professionals/students and top management of leading international companies exchange ideas, share experiences and offer feedback on what DE&I means to them. A dynamic and transparent conversation about what the companies expect from future young professionals and what the youth expect from their leaders in the workplace. The discussion included reflections and further discussions on the feedback retrieved from a survey designed by Afuture together with Global Shapers which was sent out to young professionals/students across Italy.

Who

Afuture organized this webinar together with the Embassies from Denmark, Norway and Sweden, the Nordic Council of Ministers, and with the considerable collaboration of Global Shapers Milano and the young international professionals from Bocconi University.
